Day 19 weather delay/ recovery day

Got on the road this morning and got 15 miles down the road to the closest city and made it to a hotel just in time. The weather is pretty bad been raining hard all day worst case tomorrow will have to re route our trip off the C&O trail and back on the road to Cumberland MD.

This hotel life for the day isn't such a bad thing, don't get me wrong I wish I was 50 or so miles up the trail but I haven't had a rest day since Charleston Sc and it's a good time to relax and get all reorganized.

Guest of Guest is playing another show May 11 and it's going to be the first time I've had the chance to see my good friends play live if you're Pittsburgh on the 11th come out!!!!

The rad dudes at Subrosa Brand just dropped their first full length DVD and its available now at your local shop, mail order or on their web store

And if you would rather just watch it online you can buy the digital download here

Solid meal at smokin eddies BBQ

More history

Pretty much the view all day

Getting into some hills hard to think about 2 weeks ago I was beachside

Another good night around a fire After yesterday ride I really needed a nice relaxed ride mentally and physically and today's 44 mile ride did the trick. For once I woke up at the camp site and just relaxed for a few hours then headed out to culpeper va where I meet my friend James. Tomorrow I start riding on the C&O trail witch takes me to the GAP.
